- 100+ fonts

Overview
Fontaine is a collection of 100+ web fonts, from everyday interface and text faces to more distinctive designs. Every font is freely distributable under its own open license.
Use the fonts directly from the CDN with @font-face, or bundle them into an app with the Fontaine loader. Metric-matched placeholder fonts keep text in place while a font loads, so the page does not shift.
Features
-
100+ fonts
Sans-serif, serif, monospace, handwritten, display, and symbol fonts, tagged for search.
-
Open font licenses
Fonts are distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, Apache 2.0, or MIT. Each font keeps its own license.
-
Hosted WOFF2
Every font is served as WOFF2 from
fonts.noisefactor.io. There is nothing to install. -
Zero layout shift
Blank placeholder fonts with matching metrics hold the text layout until the real font arrives.
-
Offline bundle
The loader downloads the full collection once and caches it in IndexedDB for offline apps.
-
Loader API
Load, search, and filter fonts by tag or category, and register fonts at runtime. The loader has no dependencies.
