Overview

Sync connects web renderers to native video and audio software on the same computer. A web application renders frames and sends them to Sync over an authenticated loopback connection. Sync publishes them through native providers, so the browser output appears in the source list of any application that accepts Syphon, Spout, NDI, or a camera.

In the other direction, Sync captures channels from a native audio interface and delivers them to Noisedeck audio automations. This gives Noisedeck access to inputs outside the browser microphone system, up to 32 channels per device.

Sync runs as a menu bar app on macOS, a tray app on Windows, and a user service on Linux. A website can use Sync only after you approve its origin. Sync is a public preview: it can drop frames under heavy load and does not update itself yet.
